My Skills

What I know

My core stack is Vue 3, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS, used daily to build components for a large product dashboard, all documented in Storybook. I build bespoke component libraries from the ground up — most recently stripping a third-party library out of a dashboard entirely and replacing it with accessible, brand-aligned custom components.

Accessibility runs through everything I do. I've established WCAG 2.2 AA testing and per-release accessibility reporting as standard practice across a business, and I'm working towards the IAAP CPACC and WAS certifications.

I also have broad experience across React, React Native and Next.js, headless CMS platforms such as Strapi, and years of earlier work with PHP, WordPress and WooCommerce — so I'm comfortable moving between ecosystems and working with legacy code. As a self-confessed Tailwind CSS convert, I customise the framework to suit each project through class extensions and plugins.

What I hope to learn

I'm formalising my accessibility expertise through the IAAP certification path, moving from practical WCAG knowledge towards the underlying standards, disability models and assistive technology that sit behind them.

I'm also always sharpening the fundamentals — component and end-to-end testing, performance, and the server-side and DevOps knowledge that helps a front-end developer reason about the whole system rather than just the browser — while keeping a focus on clean, maintainable code that lasts.
